How To Be Alone?

Being alone vs lonely is not the same. Lonely is an emotional state where you are feeling alone or disconnected from others. Alone is a physical state where you are physically by yourself.

Being alone is important to your personal exploration, creativity, and social energy. Being alone isn’t always easy. It can be challenging for some people for a variety of reasons. One study found that many people would prefer to give themselves painful electric shocks rather than just sit alone with their own thought.

It can also affect your physical health, so being healthy emotionally can help you live a balanced life, reduce the risk of depression, and improve self-esteem.
